I've been wondering........

"What is loneliness?

We love the presence of others around us. But why, on another moment we want to be alone?

There is something that makes us laugh in crowd. But what makes us smile in solitude?"

......I've been wondering.

So... I sat..... 'lonely' .... and me answered the 'I' who wonders...

"It's good to be lonely, because it makes you realize the importance of being in a company.

You find your own self when lonely.

You remember the ones who are close to your heart.

You miss that which you want to do.

Loneliness lets you 'prioritize'.

Loneliness makes you 'discover'."

If company is like a heavy Butter chicken diet... loneliness is the appetizer that prepares you for indulgence, AGAIN !! :)

Happy company :)

  4. "Thoughts" worth giving a thought !!!
But isn't being Lonely different from being Alone !! Lonely is a lonesome feeling with flavour of depression in it !! While Being ALONE lets "find own self " , prioritize &'discover' whereas in LONLINESS you miss , and miss and only miss the cause which made you lonely !!!!!

  6. Being lonely sure makes you understand the importance of company... I feel one can find company in his/her own self, and then you are just alone not lonely... and that is what helps you 'prioritize' and 'discover' yourself and a lot more...
But loneliness can also skew your view of the world... it can make you attach importance to a lot of things which are inconsequential otherwise... bring out emotions and opinions which might not be true...
I sometimes feel we are two different people when alone and when in company - and each is important and independent of the other. For man is a social animal- so what can be truer than his existence in a group :)

btw good food for thought :)
