The Elevator !

I've been wondering......

How we often tend to ignore the wonders of science around us.

From how I see it, non-living machines (as we prefer to call the "full of life" objects) have so much torepresent, and more so to teach.

We use machines and we know they're a part of our lives. But if you look at the other side, you are a part of their lives too.

The Office Elevator... I see it everyday,I use it everyday, and for the time I stay inside, I become a part of it everyday, and hastily walk off to my desk as I get down.

But this one day, I stopped. I noticed. And I wondered, how surprisingly close this machine gets to representing life.

"Life (read LIFT) they say, is a journey.... it has a beginning, and it has a destination.

Life is so full of uncertainties. You can't predict who walks in and walks out of it when; till the door opens.

Life is a collage. It assembles people of diverse varieties, not often associated with one another.

Life is, coming together. But then, life is parting, too.

In life you meet friends, in life you make foes.

Sometimes you're a part of the crowd, sometimes you're alone, cruising in peace.

Life is movement. There might be a pause, but there's no stopping. It is a never ending cycle. If it ends today, it'll certainly start tomorrow, again."

And lift, errr.... life, teaches you the most imperative of all lessons ....

"What goes up must come down"

......But at least now you know how to defy gravity ;) !!

  2. Great analogy.....its amazing that we can relate the four letter simple word ( LIFE) to so many unimportant objects around us and each time derive a new meaning to the word
